Cardio Kickboxing
Cardio Kickboxing is an assemblage of exercises and techniques put together to prepare kickboxers to fight in the ring. One thing we at A.F.T.A. Martial Arts have always found amusing is the number of Cardio Kickboxing programs that have sprung up all around through health clubs, community centers, colleges, etc., by so called “certified instructors.” Ask the so called instructors which Kickboxing or Martial Art school they have attended. You might want to also ask them to name some of the kickboxers they have worked with and if they were successful. The bottom line is: Does a doctor go to a mechanic to learn how to become a physician? No. Does a mechanic go to a doctor to learn how to become a mechanic? No. Does a person go to a kickboxing school to learn how to Kick box or to get in shape with Cardio Kickboxing? Yes! This is not an attack on others so much as it is a wake up call for people to shop around.
At A.F.T.A. you will be able to try us out for a week free. If you enjoy the class that great, if you do not like it, that's great too. Just be sure you get what you pay for when you decide to join whichever school you choose. Here at A.F.T.A. Martial Arts and Fitness you will be put in class with beginners to advanced students, this will help bolster your want to succeed. Obviously you are not expected to keep up with those that have been doing this activity longer. When you get tired you can stop and rest for a while. Eventually you will become stronger and build up stamina and notice changes in your attitude and your body. A.F.T.A. can not do it all for you, you need to eat right as well because this is a partnership.
Some of our people have been with us for years and are a great example of what this program can do. Too many people will say that they feel embarrassed and can not do this. That is just one more excuse and when you are good at making excuses, that's usually all your good at.
All you need is enough confidence to get through the door, we will take care of the motivation.
